A Redwood Falls man, Casey Thomas Bluestone, age 55, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony-level failing to fulfill the requirements for registering as a predatory offender.

According to court documents, last Sept. 6, two officers from the Redwood Falls Police Department visited Bluestone at his residence. The officers knew Bluestone is required to register as a predatory offender with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension until July of 2028.

During the interview, Bluestone admitted to driving a friend’s vehicle that wasn’t listed on his BCA registration. Also, the registration included up to three phone numbers he no longer uses.

On June 5, Bluestone was sentenced to 14 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud, stayed for five years, 30 days local confinement, five years supervised probation, and fees and fines of $250.
