A Redwood Falls man, Tyler Bo Sander, age 37, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for drug possession and receiving stolen property.

According to court documents, on Jan. 21, 2021, Sander was stopped by law enforcement for a traffic stop, and was later brought back to his residence in Redwood Falls for a search by agents of the Brown – Lyon – Lincoln – Redwood – Renville Drug Task Force. Sander was placed on the living room couch where he was cooperative and assisted agents in locating illegal contraband.

During the search, agents found drug paraphernalia, marijuana, pills, and a brown substance which Sander explained was “Reclaim”, methamphetamine bong water which dries out and turns to a solid substance again. Agents also found a ledger which contained information about individuals who owed him money from drug sales.

On March 8, Sander was sentenced for misdemeanor receiving stolen property and felony controlled substance possession to a total of 15 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud, stayed three years, three years supervised probation, 90 days local confinement, stayed for three years, 18 hours sentenced to serve, and fines and fees of $595.
