Redwood County child dies in auto-related accident Friday

A Redwood County child died in an accident involving a vehicle Friday afternoon.

According to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, at about 5:56 p.m. on April 15, deputies were dispatched to a report of a accident near the intersection of County Road 6 and Jade Avenue. The child later died of injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Minnesota State Patrol, Wabasso Ambulance, Wabasso Fire Department, Centra Care Ambulance, and North Air Care.
