Redwood Area Schools Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony set for Oct. 1

There will be a ceremony to induct the newest members into the Redwood Area Schools Hall of Fame on Friday, October 1, at 4:00 p.m. in the Commons area of the Redwood Valley Middle School/High School building. 

The 2020 inductees into the Redwood Area Schools Hall of Fame are Gary Bestmann-Faculty/Staff, Thomas Hollatz-Community, Richard Jaehning-Alumni, and Mark Oja-Alumni. Oja will be inducted at the Redwood School Board meeting on Monday, September 27 as he has a conflict with the October 1st date.  

The class of inductees were chosen in 2020 but due to covid, their induction was delayed.  The public is invited to attend.  

After the ceremony, guests are welcome to attend the Redwood Valley Booster Club Tailgate Party at Stephen Inglis Field.  The Redwood Valley Cardinals will take on Jackson County Central for their Homecoming game.  Inductees will also be introduced at halftime of the game.
