Todd Lee, Superintendent of the Red Rock Central School District, sent the following information out to parents and guardians of Red Rock Central students:

“In the next two weeks the students aren’t required to do any work. RRC Staff are preparing the instructional materials this week and next. In the event that distance learning is necessary beginning March 30th we want parents and guardians to have some facts about this process. Teachers will be required to be accessible via technology between 7:45 to 3:45. You may email them anytime but they will be required to respond during work hours. Between March 25th and March 27th please come in to the district to pick up any supplies (chrome books, textbooks, packets, etc.). We will be setting up a system of delivery and pick up of completed work and assignments.

Google classroom is going to be utilized for grades 3-12. Daily check-in’s and homework completion are required for attendance purposes and to receive credit and meet graduation requirements. The username’s are first name and last name @ rrcfalcons.org ex. [email protected] The passwords are Falcons (Your student’s Lunch number). Ex. John Smith’s password would be Falcons1234

This Friday, March 20th is the end of the 3rd quarter. Missing work may still be turned in by March 20th at 3:00pm. Exemptions will be made for any assessments not yet taken at this time. Report cards will be sent out the middle of next week.
