A Pennock man was injured when the beet truck he was driving overturned in Kandiyohi County Wednesday evening.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 12, at 9:36 p.m., law enforcement learned of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash with one person possibly injured near the intersection of the Kandi-Chippewa Line Road and 75th avenue SW.
Deputies discovered a 1998 International semi-truck, driven by Michael Lee Weber age 47, had been Eastbound on 75th Avenue. The truck went off the road, hit a field approach, and flipped onto its side, along with a loaded trailer of sugar beets.
Weber had non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Raymond Ambulance, Raymond Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.
