A Paynesville man, Cale Lloyd Wurzburger, age 33, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony possession of methamphetamine.

According to court documents, on Sept. 1 of last year, the redwood Falls Police Department conducted a search warrant at a residence on E. Broadway Street. The goal was to obtain video footage of an alleged assault. Despite law enforcement announcing themselves many times, no one came to the door. Police officers entered the residence, and arrested two men found inside.

One of them, Wurzburger, had on his person a baggie containing a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

On Jan. 8, Wurzburger was sentenced to 15 days local confinement, two years supervised probation, and fines and fees of $100.
