There were more than 400 crashes on Minnesota roads during the first snowstorm of the season.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported 408 total crashes Tuesday into Wednesday morning.   Of those, 42 involved injuries.  The majority of the crashes happened between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The patrol also reported hundreds of spin-outs and dozens of jackknifed semi trucks.
