One injured in Redwood Falls collision Tuesday

The Redwood Falls Police Department reports a two-vehicle accident in Redwood Falls Tuesday morning.

At about 7:50 a.m., the department received a report of a collision at the intersection of North Swain and East Bridge Streets, and that one of the parties involved was experiencing chest pain. Officers arrived to find Robert James Haney, age 55, of Redwood Falls and Connie Jo Lund, age 63, of Franklin had collided.

Redwood Falls police officers contacted Allina dispatch for an ambulance to transport the individual reporting chest pain, and were advised that firm had only one rig in town, and that it was on another call. Officers next paged Morgan ambulance for mutual aid, but that call was canceled before it went into route. The injured party was transported to a hospital by car instead.
