Olivia man suffers life-threatening injuries in Renville County collision Wednesday morning
An Olivia man suffered serious injuries in collision with a semi-truck Wednesday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on March 30, Jose Antonio Garza, age 35, of Olivia, was driving a Nissan Versa westbound on Highway 212. At about 8:30 a.m., Garza’s vehicle collided on icy roads with an eastbound Volvo semi-truck being driven by Steven Mark Buelow, age 62, of Watson.
Buelow was not injured, but Garza was transported to the hospital in Olivia with life-threatening injuries.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Hector Ambulance, and Hector Fire Department assisted at the scene.
