No injuries reported in Sanborn Corners collision Thursday (corrected)

No injuries were reported when two vehicles collided at Sanborn Corners Thursday morning.

According to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, at about 8:52 a.m. on June 4, a 2015 Ford Escape driven by Verlin Breon, age 80, of Glidden, Iowa, turned southward at the Highways 14 and 71 intersection and struck the rear driver’s side tire of a 2005 KW semi-tractor driven by Scott Schultz, age 60, of Springfield.

No injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained moderate damages.
