A New Ulm woman was injured in a collision near Sleepy Eye on Wednesday morning.

At about 8 a.m., the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Sleepy Eye Ambulance responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of County Road 27 and County Road 10.

The accident occurred when a Chevrolet Silverado did not stop at the stop sign and proceeded into traffic, and was struck by a Ford Exposition. The drivers involved were Daniel Seidl, age 59, of Sleepy Eye, and Denise Lienig, age 57, of New Ulm.

Both parties were checked over by the ambulance crew; Lienig was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center for possible injuries.
