New Ulm motorcyclist injured in Thursday afternoon crash

A New Ulm motorcyclist was injured in a Brown County crash Thursday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on May 4, Steven Scott Zeitz, age 40, was northbound on Highway 15. At about 1:08 p.m., near the intersection with County Road 20, Zeitz lost control and went into the ditch.

Zeitz was transported to the New Ulm Medical Center, and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Assisting on the scene were the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Allina Ambulance, Hanska Fire Department, and Madelia Police Department.
