New London-Spicer school evacuated due to gas leak

The New London-Spicer High School/Middle School Building was evacuated at 1:45 Wednesday afternoon due to an accidental cut in a gas line near school property.

In a letter to parents, school officials said all 5th and 6th grade students were led safely to Prairie Woods Elementary. All after school activities are cancelled. The 7th-12th Grade Flu Clinic scheduled for Wednesday was postponed.
