A New London man was injured when his vehicle went off the road in Kandiyohi County Thursday morning.
On June 17, at about 4:35 a.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was called to a single-vehicle crash at the 1200 block of 240th Avenue NE. Deputies found a 46 year old New London man in a 2014 Jeep. He had apparently been traveling eastbound on 240th Avenue, left the road, and struck a tree.
The driver was airlifted from the scene and to the St. Cloud hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. It is believed the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
Assisting the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Officer were the New London Ambulance, New London Fire Department, Lakes Area First Responders, Carris Health Ambulance Service and Life Link Air Ambulance.
