A Montgomery man escaped injury when his vehicle rolled over near Springfield Thursday.

Daniel Sargent, age 21, was traveling southbound toward Springfield on County Road 13 in a 2012 Ford Escape. Near the intersection with 240th Street, the vehicle slid on the icy road. The vehicle crossed over the northbound lane, entered the east ditch sideways, and rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Both the driver and passenger side air bags deployed.  Sargent was alert and walking around when deputies arrived on scene. He was given a ride to Centra Care ER with no apparent injuries.
