Montevideo residence hit by multiple gunshots Thursday

A Montevideo residence was struck by multiple bullets early Thursday morning.

On Oct. 19, at about 1:37 a.m., Chippewa County Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired in the vicinity of 100 block of North 10th Street.

Montevideo police officers and Chippewa County deputies arrived and collected several shell casings. During the investigation it was determined a residence was struck by multiple bullets.

This is an ongoing investigation and Montevideo Police Department is looking for any information the public may have including: surveillance video, images near the area of 100 block North 10th Street showing individuals and/or vehicles.
