Montevideo man injured in collision with Granite Falls man Saturday afternoon

A Montevideo man was injured when his vehicle collided with that of a man from Granite Falls Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 2:40 p.m. on Oct. 23, two eastbound vehicles on Highway 7 in Chippewa County collided. Larry Dean Meyer, age 76, of Granite Falls, was driving a 1998 Peterbuilt semi-truck, and was uninjured. Carl William Wyckoff, age 21, of Montevideo, was transported to the hospital in Montevideo with non-life threatening injuries.

The Montevideo Fire Department and EMS, and Chippewa County Sheriff assisted at the scene.
