WILLMAR, Minn. – MnDOT is hosting an in-person public meeting to educate the community about funding resources for public improvement projects, including the Highway 23 safety improvement project in New London.  The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6:30-8 pm at Prairie Woods Elementary School in New London.

Join MnDOT District 8 staff, state, and local elected officials to learn more about funding resources, ask questions and give input. For those unable to make the in-person meeting on Dec. 8, a copy of the presentation and additional information will be available on the project webpage.  The community can also ask questions and submit comments through the project webpage.

MnDOT is re-analyzing a safety improvement for the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 9 in New London.  MnDOT secured Pamela Whitmore, Whitmore Resolution Group, to facilitate the community input process, including the formation of an advisory group to assist in the community engagement.
