Minnesota’s oldest resident celebrates 112th birthday in New Ulm

Erna Zahn, the oldest resident of Minnesota, celebrated her 112th birthday in New Ulm on Tuesday.

Zahn is a currently living in the Oak Hills Living Center, and is not allowed to see visitors due to COVID-19 fears. To accommodate, Zahn’s family organized a parade of cars to drive by her window. Zahn called it the biggest surprise of her life.
