A Minneapolis man, Daniel Jerome Peters, age 27, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony possession of methamphetamine.

According to court documents, On Nov. 17 of last year, a Redwood Falls police officer responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence. Officers learned that there was possible drug activity going on inside, and that one of the people was Peters, who had a warrant for his arrest from Renville County.

The officer received permission to enter, and found Peters upstairs. Outside, Peters acknowledged he had liquid meth in a vial in his pocket.

On Feb. 5, Peters was sentenced to 18 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud, and fines and fees of $135.
