Marshall senior citizen injured in Lyon County crash Wednesday

A Marshall woman was injured when her vehicle went off the road in Lyon County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 4 p.m. on Oct. 27, Kathryn Mary Eveslage, age 75, of Marshall, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox northbound on Highway 23. Near the intersection with County Road 13, her vehicle entered the ditch.

A passenger in the vehicle, Mary Margaret Eveslage, age 92, was transported to the Avera Hospital in Marshall with believed non-life threatening injuries.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Balaton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
