A man wanted on drug-related warrants from Kandiyohi and Chippewa Counties was arrested in the Twin Cities Thursday.
On Dec. 15, agents with the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force worked with the Minnesota Department of Corrections about several individuals supplying people in southwestern Minnesota with methamphetamine.
The suspects had recently been released from prison, were living in North Minneapolis, and were on intensive supervised release with the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Task force agents assisted the Department of Corrections with home visits on these individuals, and conducted search warrants on their residences. During the searches, Agents located about one half pound of methamphetamine, 1.5 ounces of THC Wax, as well as marijuana and THC Vape cartridges.
Three suspects were arrested in connection with these cases, including one wanted on outstanding warrants out of Kandiyohi and Chippewa Counties. The main target of the investigation had recently been released from prison on a 1st Degree Controlled Substance Sales case the CEE-VI Task Force had done on him in November of 2019.
All three suspects are being held in the Hennepin County Jail.
