St. Cloud man involved in Willmar shootout given probation
A St. Cloud man, Jaedon Marshall, age 22, who was involved in a shooting incident in Willmar last fall has been given probation under a sentence handed down Monday.
According to KWLM, on Nov. 6, 2022, Marshall and a juvenile were involved in a gunfight in Willmar when Marshall was wounded in the face. In a plea agreement, Marshall pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Riot/Armed With a Dangerous Weapon.
Judge Stephen Wentzell stayed a prison sentence of one year and one day for Marshall for five years if Marshall undergoes a comprehensive assessment, and has no additional assaultive or threatening behavior incidents. Marshall was placed on probation for five years and was given a 10 day jail sentence.
