Man found dead of gunshot wound in Redwood Falls Sunday

On Sunday, Feb. 27, at about 10:28 p.m., the Redwood Falls Police Department was dispatched to the area  of the 400 block of East Elm Street in the City of Redwood Falls. Officers found a deceased adult male  with a gunshot wound.

The Redwood Falls Police Department states there is no concern for public safety, as this incident appeared to be an isolated event.

The incident remains under investigation. Assisting agencies include the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal  Apprehension (BCA), Minnesota State Patrol, Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Lower Sioux Police  Department, and CentraCare Ambulance.
