Brown County deputies apprehended the driver of a suspicious vehicle Saturday afternoon.

At about 4:24 p.m., Brown County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on a property near the KC Road close to New Ulm. When a deputy attempted to make contact with the driver, the driver fled the property in the vehicle.

Deputies pursued for a short distance, but were able to keep in visual contact while driving at safe speeds. The suspect driver, who turned out to be a 24-year old male, continued on the KC road to a dead-end residence,  where he was apprehended.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office will be forwarding reports to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for review of formal charges. Assisting agencies included New Ulm Police Department.
