A major dealer of methamphetamine was captured by a drug task force last week.

On Thursday, Feb. 27, agents of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force arrested a 47-year-old St. Paul man for First Degree Sales and Possession of Methamphetamine. This party was known to be supplying western Minnesota with large amounts of methamphetamine.

The suspect in this case sold the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force over a pound of methamphetamine in the city of St. Cloud. After the arrest, task force agents went to the suspect’s residence in St. Paul, where they executed a narcotics search warrant. During that search warrant multiple pounds of methamphetamine were located. This suspect is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail.

The CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force was assisted by the Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force, the Minnesota BCA, and the St. Paul Police Department.

This case is currently under investigation.
