KLGR Farm Director Scott Colombe presented with Redwood Area Cattlemen’s Association’s 2022 Hot Shot award

In appreciation for all he does for ag in the KLGR-area, the Redwood Area Cattlemen’s Association presented KLGR Farm Director Scott Colombe with the “Hot Shot Award” for 2022 at the group’s meeting Saturday evening in Wabasso.

Colombe, who spent the previous few days at the National Association of Farm Broadcasters convention in Kansas City, Missouri, admitted being caught completely off guard by the recognition. He said, “I am absolutely beyond words and truly grateful for this recognition. Most days I feel that I’m only doing my job as an ag broadcaster but it’s events like these that remind me that there’s more to it than just turning on the mic.”
