KLGR Community Cafe: the Shoebox Project
For years now, around Thanksgiving, local churches and other organizations have been taking part in what’s called the Shoebox Project. It’s a gift collection with items being collected in shoeboxes — or in boxes about the size of shoeboxes — to be shipped all over the world.
This year, the Evangelical Free Church in Redwood Falls is one site where shoebox gifts are being collected. Rachel Friese of Redwood Falls explained how she got involved:
