KLGR COMMUNITY CAFE: First annual Kickin’ Cancer in Redwood County event

On Friday evening the weather was, for all practical purposes, perfect, making it the perfect evening for the first annual Kickin’ Cancer in Redwood County fundraiser.

Kickin’ Cancer is the reorganized version of the previous Redwood County Relay for Life. At Friday’s event, one of the organizers, Char Burgemeister, spoke to KLGR about how even though Relay for Life has been around for awhile, this year’s event was still a first in some ways:
