KLGR-area under flood warnings until further notice

According to the National Weather Service, parts of the KLGR-area are under flood warnings until further notice.

Morton and North Redwood have both reported flooding, with Fleischer Road at 24 feet in North Redwood; flood stage is 21 feet.

Flood warnings have also been extended for the following rivers in southwest Minnesota:

Cottonwood River at New Ulm in Brown County

Cottonwood River above Springfield

Redwood River near Redwood Falls

Warm temperatures will continue to melt upstream snowpack and increase river flows.
