A Kerkhoven man was injured in collision with deer Monday morning.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, at about 4:51 a.m. on Sept. 27, Joshua Jurek, age 42, was southbound on County Road 7. Near the intersection with 135th Ave. southwest, south of Raymond, a deer stepped onto the road. The motorcycle collided with the deer, and Jurek suffered non-life threatening injuries. Jurek was transported to Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital.
Assisting the sheriff’s office were Raymond Ambulance and Raymond Fire Department.
