Kandiyohi teenager injured when vehicle goes off the road

A teenager was injured when her vehicle went off the road in Kandiyohi County Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 5:17 p.m., Daniela Kathryn Parker, age 17, of Kandiyohi, was eastbound in a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu on Highway 12. Near 135th Street NE,  her vehicle went off the road to the right, struck the ditch bottom, and came to rest in a field.

Parker was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life threatening injuries. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
