Braxton Anderson

A western Minnesota man who is accused of driving high and on a suspended license in a deadly crash has been convicted by a Chippewa County jury.

Braxton Anderson of Montevideo will be sentenced on September 22nd. The 35-year-old defendant was recently found guilty of criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation while under the influence of an illicit drug.

Anderson was the driver in an August 2019 crash that killed his girlfriend, 20-year-old Brittany Schulz of Appleton. Test results from the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension show drugs in Anderson’s system.
