June 24 Update on southwest Minnesota highways impacted by flooding
WILLMAR, Minn. – (11:15 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation continues to closely monitor state highways in southwest Minnesota due to flooding caused by heavy rains during the past week.
The status of state highways in southwest Minnesota that have or have had water on the roadway due to flooding follows.
- CLOSED: Highway 14, east of Lamberton, between Impala Avenue and Jade Avenue; follow posted detour. The roadway will remain closed through the day and overnight and will be reevaluated tomorrow.
- Highway 14, west side of Tyler: water on the westbound lane, slow down and use caution.
- Highway 30 between Dovray and Westbrook: water has receded.
- Highway 59, south of Marshall, southbound lane: water has receded.
- Highway 91 in Chandler: water has receded.
