Jim Menton chosen to lead the BOLD School District

The BOLD School Board Monday night voted to offer the position of district superintendent to current BOLD High School Principal Jim Menton.

Menton will take over for current superintendent Dale Brandsoy, who is retiring. Brandsoy says the board last night rescinded the motion made at the meeting last Thursday to start over with the Superintendent search.

Then they reviewed the two finalist and approved offering the position to Menton. The other finalist was Patrick Beiermann, the current assistant principal at Kennedy Elementary in Willmar.
