The Redwood County Highway Department announced Tuesday that CSAH 101 from TH 19 to the Minnesota River will be closed to thru traffic starting Monday May 17, through the end of June 30.

The railroad crossing will be replaced in North Redwood during the first week of work, followed by pavement rehabilitation along the stretch of roadway.  The pavement work will be completed by Central Specialties Inc.  Local access to North Redwood will be from CSAH 17 and CSAH 25.  Local access to Burr Oak Road and Ponderosa Road will be from Active Aid Road and Northwood Drive, respectively.

Additionally, Duininck Inc. has provided an updated construction schedule for the CSAH 101 Minnesota River Bridge Crossing, with a completion date of July 16.  There is understanding CSAH 101/CSAH 1 is a well-travelled area and the bridge closure is inconvenient.  The Redwood County Highway department extends appreciation to the public for their continued patience as the project moves forward.
