Helgeson the be next judge seated in Granite Falls

Governor Tim Walz Thursday announced the appointment of Keith Helgeson as District Court Judge in Minnesota’s Eighth Judicial District.

Helgeson will be replacing Judge Dwayne N. Knutsen who is retiring, and will be chambered Granite Falls. Helgeson is currently the Yellow Medicine County Attorney.

Walz says “Mr. Helgeson is a devoted public servant with a career dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Yellow Medicine County. In addition to his extensive legal experience, Mr. Helgeson’s commitment to his community has prepared him well for this important role.”
