Hector man sentenced in Redwood County court for separate felony-level drug offenses

A Hector man, Warren Thomas Kiecker, age 56, has been sentenced in Redwood County Court for separate felony-level drug offenses.
The first involved incidents in 2021 in which Kiecker sold methamphetamine to informants working with the Brown Lyon Redwood Renville Drug Task Force. In both May and July, Kiecker sold meth in local business parking lots to individuals outfitted with electronic recording devices, and under video surveillance. The total weight of the meth came to 21.7 grams, at a total cost of $870. At the time of the sales, Kiecker was on pre-trial release for two drug offenses, and was on probation for a third.
Several months later, in Oct. 2021, agents of the drug task force met with Kiecker in an area business parking lot. A search of his vehicle turned up a baggie with .7 grams of meth.
On Sept. 18, Kiecker was sentenced 98 months in the correctional facility in St. Cloud for the two meth sales, and 21 months for the meth possession charge. There was no indication whether the sentences would run concurrently or one after the other.
