A Granite Falls woman was arrested last week for multiple violations for controlled substances.

On Thursday, March 3, at approximately 10:15 p.m., CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force Agents responded to a residence in Granite Falls to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office and the Granite Falls Police Department. They were attempting to locate a female who was wanted on 1st Degree Controlled Substance Violation warrants out of the Counties of Kandiyohi and Chippewa.

Law Enforcement located Anita Blue, age 37, hiding under her mobile home after it was learned that she had fled from the interior of the residence through a hidden door cut through the floor of the residence. She was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants without incident and a narcotics search warrant was then executed at her residence. During the search, Law Enforcement located approximately 5 ½ ounces of methamphetamine hidden in various areas of the residence.
