Four southwestern Minnesotan were injured when their vehicle overturned in Chippewa County Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Dec. 17, Patrice Lynna Johnson, age 40, of Granite Falls, was driving a Chevrolet Colorado eastbound on Highway 212, near Granite Falls. At about 10:48 a.m., near mile post 50, the Colorado lost control on the icy road and rolled into the ditch.

Johnson was taken to the hospital in Granite Falls with non-life threatening injuries, as were her passengers Laney Marie Bartunek, age 18, of Dawson; Deborah Jo Fossan, age 65, of Granite Falls; and a four year old female juvenile.

Assisting on the scene were the Granite Falls ambulance, fire department, and police department, the Upper Sioux Police Department, and the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office.
