Four ounces of meth found during Richfield home visit by drug task force

A 56 year old male is in custody in the Meeker County Jail on 1st degree controlled substance charges after a visit from a drug task force.

The CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force assisted the Minnesota Department of Corrections on a home visit with the client in Richfield. The client is currently on parole for 1st degree sales of a controlled substance.

During the visit, the task force agents observed controlled substances in the residence, and a narcotic search warrant was applied for and granted. The search resulted in over four ounces of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash believed to be the proceeds from drug sales.

The CEE-VI Task Force was assisted during the search warrant by the Litchfield Police Department, Meeker Cuonty Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
