“Foster parents play an important role in providing a loving home for our most vulnerable children,” stated Renea Weigel, Social Service Supervisor for Renville County Human Services.  “We have foster parents who enjoy helping younger children succeed through establishing a routine and others who want to help teenagers finish high school.  Some care for children long-term while others provide care in emergencies.  What they all have in common is their willingness to open their hearts and homes for a short or extended period to children in need.”
