Faribault man injured in Renville County collision Saturday

A Faribault man was injured when his truck rolled in Renville County Saturday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 10:48 a.m. on Oct. 16, Travis Don Borchert, age 31, was driving a 1980 Mack truck southbound on Highway 4 south of Hector. At the intersection of Highway 4 and 750th Street, Borchert drove into the ditch to avoid a collision with another driver, and rolled the truck. The other vehicle was not struck, and was not involved.

Borchert was transported to the hospital in Olivia with non-life threatening injuries. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
