A Fairfax woman was sentenced in Redwood County Court this month for selling meth to a drug task force on three separate occasions this year.

According to court documents, earlier this year agents with the Brown – Lyon – Redwood – Renville Drug Task Force, conducted three controlled drug buys on Kimberly Marie Cloud, age 26, of Fairfax.

On Feb. 3, a confidential informant outfitted with an electronic transmitting device purchased a gram of methamphetamine for $60 at a residence in Redwood Falls. A second controlled purchase occurred on Feb. 24, when an informant bought 3.5 grams of meth from Cloud for $200 at a second residence in Redwood Falls. The third purchase happened on March 5 in Redwood Falls, when an informant bought seven grams of meth.

In addition to the three purchases for meth, Cloud has a 2012 violent crime conviction for arson in Redwood County Court, and a previous controlled substance conviction in Kandiyohi County.

On Nov. 15, Kimberly Marie Cloud was sentenced for a controlled substance crime in the first degree to the correctional facility in Shakopee for 90 months, with credit for 61 days time served.
