Eight people were injured when two vehicles collided in Kandiyohi County Sunday evening.

On May 31, at about 5:31 p.m. the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash  at the intersection of County Roads 9 and 33.

A preliminary investigation showed a 2018 Honda Odyssey, driven by Jamie Henson, age 36, of White Bear Lake, had been headed east on County Road 33. She failed to stop at the County Road 9 intersection, and struck a southbound 2014 Ford Expedition driven by Ricky Baker, age 63, of Willmar.

Baker’s passengers were Michelle Baker, age 59, Karen Cram, age 55, and David Cram, age 53, all from Willmar. David Cram was airlifted from the scene due to his injuries. The other parties were transported to Carris Health in Willmar for unknown injuries.

Passengers in Henson’s vehicle were Robert B. Henson, age 32, Robert J. Henson, age three, and Zoe Henson, age two, all from White Bear Lake. All were taken to Carris Health in Willmar for unknown injuries.

The crash is under investigation. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New London Fire Department, New London Ambulance, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Centracare Ambulance, Life link Air Ambulance and the Willmar Police Department.
