Driver Injured When Semi Blows Over In Near Windom

A semi-truck driver was injured Thursday morning when his rig blew over in strong winds on Highway 71. Rashad Devon Brown, 32, of Port Richey, Florida was transported to Windom Area Health with non-life threatening injuries following the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Brown was northbound on Highway 71. At about 8:14 a.m., near the intersection with Cottonwood Co Rd 22, the strong winds blew the semi over onto its side.

The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
