Dead body found in Montevideo park

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s office is trying to determine how a man found in a Montevideo Park this weekend died.

The Montevideo Police Department says at 8:30 Sunday morning a man walking in Chinhinta Park found the body of 36-year-old Refugio Jason Rodriguez of Montevideo.

The death is being investigated, and the police say they did not discover anything indicating a threat to the public.
