Culvert replacement on Hwy 330 west of Lamberton begins Aug. 28

Starting Monday, Aug. 28, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is replacing a culvert on Highway 330 northwest of Lamberton. Weather permitting, the project is scheduled to finish Tuesday, Aug. 29. A half-mile segment of Hwy 330 will close between 130th St and Hwy 14.

During the culvert replacement, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

Drivers are asked to use caution and watch for crews and heavy equipment working in the area.

Work zone travel

MnDOT advises travelers to always slow down when approaching every work zone. Other reminders:

  • Never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones
  • Stay alert; work zones constantly change
  • Watch for workers and slow-moving equipment
  • Obey posted speed limits; fine for a work zone violation is $300
  • Minimize distractions behind the wheel
  • Be patient; expect delays, especially during peak travel times
