In a map released by the Minnesota Department of Health on Friday morning, Redwood County is one of the few in southern Minnesota still not reporting a case of COVID-19.

As of this morning (Friday, April 3), there are still no diagnosed cases of coronavirus in Redwood or Murray Counties. All the other counties around Redwood have reported cases.

All the other counties surrounding Redwood currently report one to five cases. On Thursday, a second case of coronavirus was confirmed for Renville County.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health yesterday, there are now 742 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the state, up from 689 on Wednesday, and the death count is now at 18.

Of all cases reported since January, only 24 have been in people aged 19 or younger.
